A Message From Our CEO
I wanted to take a moment and give you a few thoughts on Streamline Brands' perspective and the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in as a result of COVID-19.
For more than 30 years, the swim schools associated with Streamline Brands have been singularly focused on being a positive influence on the communities we have the honor to be part of. Our focus has never wavered from helping our students learn to love and respect the water. Water is truly a tie that binds us all, and swimming is an important life skill. A child swimming safely in a pool in summer time is nearly a ubiquitous definition of pure JOY.
We all need a dose of JOY right now, and it is in this spirit that I am writing to you.
If there is anything I’ve personally learned since this crisis began, it is the power that optimism, love and family have in spreading JOY. While the pain of being away from our families, friends, colleagues and students is real, the opportunity for us all to reconnect with our friends, families and our communities in a way that has no specific end date is a very real benefit of this pandemic.
It is the connective tissue focused on JOY in the neighborhoods we are a part of that we have always striven to create and maintain at Streamline Brands. The optimism in a child’s eye when they are able to show their parents the freedom and independence associated with a new learned skill is simply infectious. Far more infectious than even a virus!
You have our commitment that we are working tirelessly to be ready to get back to spreading JOY in every interaction we have with you. We are committed to providing you with the safest and cleanest environment possible for your student to learn the life skill of swimming. We can’t wait to see you again and re-enable our schools to be an essential tie that binds our team members, students and our communities around the concepts of Joy, Optimism, Love and Family.
If at any point we can help you update your swimming lesson schedule or help you plan for your family’s return to our school(s), please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are committed to doing everything we can to accommodate your individual situation and make swimming lessons the least stressful part or your family’s schedule as we eventually get back to “normal”.
With optimism,
Matt Lane, CEO
